Unity One-Day Conference
In October we resurrected the Unity Conference that had not happened since before the Covid era and it was an incredible time with +-100 student leaders from 10 different schools. Opting for a 1-day format, the event consisted of 2 sessions and 2 workshops with a powerful time of worship to kick it all off. We touched on topics like “The Leader leaders love to follow” as well as “How to be an Effective Communicator."
The Conference was punchy, practical and engaging, it also highlighted a genuine need to do more of these intense training & equipping times to come in the future. We are scheduled to host our next conference in the first half of 2024 so look out for more information on that.
SU Summer Camp
We ended 2023 off with our annual summer camp held at Greystone Camp & Adventure Centre and what a significant time it was. There’s always something special about a group of people getting away from their normal day-to-day lives to create some space to meet, encounter and hear from God; and this is precisely what we saw. There were many highlights but one that stands out is a moment where all the young people laid hands on one of their friends who was deaf, it was moving & so special to see the next generation exercise their faith and trust God for the miraculous.
