The Champions of change boys camp started with a dream and a vision given by GOD. An idea that sat with the founder of 4 Him Ministries Reinhardt van der Westhuizen for many years.The big idea was focused on youth, boys, troubled boys more specifically, boys that are missing the mark in some way, shape or form. {Honestly though, what boy does not miss the mark in some way?} so with saying that, all are welcome.

Reinhardt dreamed big dreams, he envisioned buying a farm, with a conference center and the list goes on.He prayed and asked GOD for provision, and systematically, God was busy answering his prayers, just not the way that he had imagined. Fast forward a couple of years and Reinhardt has made a new friend by the name of Garland Sam, the regional director of Scripture Union South Africa (KZN region) As the reader would most probably know, Scripture Union does youth camps, and this is where the manifestation started of a dream given many years ago, we realized that most of the youth in South Africa does not have mentors, even just people pointing them in the right direction. Our youth is our future and without mentorship, Godly mentorship our future is looking bleak.

Boys that are in trouble usually are boys who have strong wills, and strong-willed boys is exactly what we need for future generations of strong leaders, pioneers, visionaries. They just need guidance. Enter Champions of change boys camp for troubled youth.

At camp, we strive to teach these young men, what it means to be men, what it means to be husbands and fathers {Before they get there}, and what it means to be functioning members of society. Here is the catch, we do all of this through the lens of Scripture. This is most definitely an exclusive Christian camp, we glorify God by obeying a command, the great commission. We have a team set up for success and each one of us are fully devoted to teaching these young men.

With saying that, we need supporters like you to make this dream a continual reality. Someone who can see and contribute to this amazing cause, someone who wants to make a difference in the youth of South Africa!
