When God’s Word Reaches Beyond the Classroom

At Scripture Union KZN Region, our prayer has always been that young people would not only hear God’s Word at school, but begin pursuing Jesus personally in their everyday lives.

Recently, a Principal from one of our partnering schools. A Grade 6 parent became concerned because their child was spending over an hour alone in their room every evening. When they eventually opened the door, they discovered their child reading the Bible and praying — reading the exact same chapter that had been shared during the SU school session that day.

For us, this is the heart of our ministry.

It’s seeing God move beyond assemblies and school visits, and watching young people develop real, personal relationships with Jesus in their homes and daily lives. It’s moments like these that remind us why ministry in schools matters so deeply and the growth of young people in their journey with God.

Imagine how many more young people could be reached if more people chose to partner with the work God is doing through SU KZN.

What if the cost of two cappuccinos a month could help place God’s Word into more schools, camps, Bible studies, and young hearts across KwaZulu-Natal?

If this is something you’d consider being part of in the future, comment “I’m in” on this blog. We’d love to connect with those who have a heart to see ministry grow and more young people walking with Jesus.
