About Us
Who Are We?
Scripture Union is a trusted partner to local churches and schools, helping introduce young people to Jesus, the Bible, and the Church.
Many young people are growing up with little regular Bible engagement or prayer, while facing peer pressure, confusion, violence and uncertainty about the future.
For over 100 years, Scripture Union South Africa has helped churches and schools reach young people in practical, trusted, and age-appropriate ways, through training, contextual and trusted resources.

OUR VISION...
To see a generation transformed
by Jesus and
filled with hope
Working with churches, Scripture Union aims to:
- make God’s Good News known to children, young people and families, and
- encourage people of all ages to meet God daily through the Bible and prayer
so that they may come to personal faith in our Lord Jesus Christ, grow in Christian maturity and become both committed church members and servants of a world in need.
